Geo and Jan Francis 

Set in bushland acreage a birdsong from Bells Beach Victoria on Wadawurrung Country, Moongate Studios is the distinctive owner-built mudbrick home, studios, gallery and gardens of Geo and Jan Francis, internationally acclaimed artists.

A personal and working relationship of 50+ years has shaped them into an intuitive, vibrant team co-ordinating art projects from concept to installation, whilst developing their own well-recognised and celebrated creative voices.

Art has opened many doors of opportunity, travel, cultural exchange and friendship. Much awarded and applauded internationally for art excellence and cultural exchange initiatives, Jan and Geo received a Medaglia Mauriziana per le Arti in Italy 2017 for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts and Jan, a Gold Medal at Expo Milano Italy 2015.
